Influential Artists from today and yesterday.

Here is a short list of influential artists that you should know about. Links on this page will open in a new window AND lead you away from this site. I didn't see a need to rewrite what other people have already said about these people.

As a warning, the study of art often deals with nudity. As I have noted, I do not support nudity in art, however, I do not control what other people put on their sites. Always use caution when visiting art sites.

Leonardo DaVinci

Any artist who doesn't have at least some basic knowledge about Leonardo DaVinci is poorly educated. DaVinci was a leader in so many ways.

Claude Monet

Monet was a "French Impressionist" painter. I really like how he blends his colors.

Joel Siebel

I met Joel Siebel while living in Minnesota. He took time out of his busy schedule to go over a lot of my work and give me some great direction. It was a HUGE benefit to meet someone who has spent a career in professional animation. He is also a firm believer in Jesus Christ.

William-Adolphe Bouguereau

Wow. All I can say is "Wow". This man had a rare talent. He died in 1905. William Bouguereau is unquestionably one of history's greatest artistic geniuses.
